The Admissions Process

The application requires:

  • Basic personal information (including current church affiliation)

  • Pastoral and general reference letters

  • Official transcript(s) from any undergraduate school where you have taken 6 or more credit hours

  • Three essays (a personal vision, a testimony, and an academic essay)

  • $25 Application Fee

Entrance Requirements

  • Your completed application must be received by the Admissions Committee by the dates below to enroll in the corresponding term:

    • August 1 – Fall term

    • December 15 – Spring term

    • April 15 – Summer term

  • Submit a transcript from the institution you would like the Academic Dean to review for possible transfer credit eligibility. Please be aware that you may or may not receive the full value of your transfer hours. For a more detailed transferability of credits statement, see the Academics Page.

  • Memphis City Seminary (MCS) admits students of any ethnicity, sex, handicap, and national origin who possess a credible and scriptural Christian testimony and who meet all other admissions requirements to all the rights, privileges, and activities generally afforded or made available to all its students.
